I've often wondered how safe my images are on Flickr, or any free hosting sites for that matter, like Picassa too.

This story explains they are not so secure, and leaving the legal battle up to a now 17-year old.

Hmm.. time to rethink my Flickr account.  Anyone got any comments/thoughts on this?

Sad, but it's a possibility no matter where you post your pictures on the internet, unless you either restrict your work via login and password and/or watermark them so severely they are beyond Photoshop wizardy.

I personally don't worry about it. Cases like the are very rare.
